About the book
SHE HAS THIRTY DAYS TO UNCOVER THEM.
Elara has spent nearly twenty years becoming someone her father could not reach: a pediatric surgeon who works so hard there is no room left for the past. Then his lawyer calls. Her father is dead, and his will leaves her the family manor on one condition. She must live there for thirty days. Only then will she be given the sealed letter he left her.
The house is just as she left it, except that every mirror has been draped in a sheet. When Elara begins to uncover them, each one opens onto a room of her childhood she has refused to enter: the closet under the stairs, the long dinners where no one spoke, the locked nursery at the end of the corridor, and the child's gate at the top of the grand staircase.
Her little brother, Leo, died when she was three. No one ever told her it was her fault. No one had to.
Mirrors Edge is a novel about the guilt children carry for the adults around them, the love that survives inside a broken family, and the courage it takes to look at the past long enough to see it clearly.
This is the revised and expanded 2026 edition.
